We operate with a “3 strikes policy” for all our clients, which means that we won’t continue treatment if there is no progress after 3 sessions. We don’t sign you up for lengthy treatment plans and will refer you on for further diagnosis rather than continue to give you sessions that have little to no effect. Remedial & Sports Massage IN SYDNEY’S CBD
Remedial massage is a systematic body assessment that aims to treat muscles, ligaments, tendons and other connective tissues. The treatment is tailored to each individual’s specific needs, finding the underlying cause of discomfort to relieve the symptoms for good. Sports massage is a specific treatment which combines Deep Soft Tissue Massage (DSTM), active release, myofascial release and stretching to boost an individual's performance, shorten their recovery time, prevent injury and reduce pain. It can be performed at different stages such as pre-event or post-event during recovery period or during rehabilitation of an injury. Sports massage is recommended for any individual who is active from social walkers to elite athletes preparing for specific sporting events.
Fix Physio also offers pilates classes as an extension of physio recovery plans and treatments. Pilates aims to strengthen weak muscles, stretch tight muscles and improve posture. Pilates places core stability at the centre of its philosophy, focussing on lower abdominal strength as the basis for better health and fitness. The classes are a combination of pilates- both floor and reformer based as well as strength and conditioning. Our classes our capped at 3 people per class so everyone gets close supervision and monitoring and the programs are individually customised.
